The advantages of custom heatsinks from Calinar

Calinar

Designers do not have to be held back by a limited heatsink choice when laying out a PCB as many heatsinks from Calinar are bespoke custom designs. When industry standard extrusions do not prove to be best suited for a specific application custom heatsinks can offer an ideal solution.

Power supply design can often mean a large heatsink that the engineer has to work around. High heat dissipation requires large extrusions, many of which are industry standard. However, heatsinks are components which cannot be compromised or easily changed to suit an engineer’s layout.

Calinar offers a very competitive price on tooling which gives the customer far more freedom. Instead of being restrained to designing around the heatsink, engineers can now design the heatsink around their layout. Options used to be limited by the high tooling costs imposed by manufacturers but Calinar offers tooling at a price that suits today's competitive market.

Bespoke drilling patterns are also welcome which makes Calinar a one-stop tooling solution. Competitive tooling costs and efficient production techniques mean not only a product that is preferred by the engineer but also a saving on component cost.
