As well as providing all your Passive, Active and Emech component requirements, Anglia also offers a comprehensive range of batteries from leading suppliers, GP, Renata, Yuasa.

The range covers all the recognised battery chemistries, Zinc Chloride, Alkaline Manganese, Lithium NiCd, NiMH, Lithium Ion and Sealed Lead Acid in all the popular sizes of each chemistry.

There is also an extensive selection of battery holders from Taicom, Keystone and Renata to complement the range.

Below is a brief overview of the ranges available,

Standard Cells

A range of standard cells from GP and Target available in four chemistries.

• Zinc Chloride
  • Non-rechargeable
  • Suitable for low and medium drain applications

• Alkaline Manganese
  • Non-rechargeable
  • Higher capacity suitable for high drain applications

• Nickel Cadmium
  • Rechargeable 500 or more times
  • Low to medium power applications
  • Industrial range available with plain or solder tag terminals
  • High discharge and high temperature versions available

• Nickel Metal Hydride
  • Rechargeable
  • Up to 2X capacity of NiCd
  • No recharge memory effect
  • Industrial range available with plain or solder tag terminals
  • High discharge range available.

PCB Mount Battery Packs

Available in rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride chemistry, these PCB mounting battery packs from GP Batteries are similar to the Varta Mempack series with voltage options of 1.2, 2.4 and 3.6V.

Custom Battery Packs

Anglia can supply custom rechargeable battery packs from Target made to your exact specifications in either Nickel Cadmium Nickel Metal Hydride or Lithium Ion chemistries with or without built-in protection. please call +44 (0)1945 474747 or e-mail info@anglia.com for further details.

Coin Cells

Anglia has added an extensive range of 3V Lithium coin cells from Renata and GP covering all the standard sizes and capacities as well as offering PCB mount types in Horizontal or Vertical styles.

Zinc Air and Silver Oxide cells are also available to special order.

Sealed Lead Acid (Valve regulated)

Two manufacturers ranges, Safire and Yuasa, have been introduced by Anglia covering 6V & 12V types in capacities ranging from 0.8Ah to 78Ah.

As well as the standard general purpose series, high cyclic life types for constant charge and discharge applications and long life types with extended service life from 7 to 15 years, are also available.

Battery Holders

The range of moulded battery holders from Renata, Keystone and Taicom covers the standard cells in N, AAA, AA, C, D and PP3 sizes as well as coin cell batteries. These are available in wire connection, PCB mount and surface mount styles. In addition a series of battery clips and connectors is also provided.
