Low profile pin headers help broaden Taicom's PCB Interconnect line

The introduction of flush mounting pin headers to the 2.54mm pitch range now enables Taicom to cater for the ever increasing demands for simple and cost effective PCB interconnect products that suit equipment with limited space.

Available in single row, these right angle headers have a height above the PCB of only 2.54mm making them ideal for applications where headroom is severely restricted. Offered with a choice of ways from 2 to 40 ways, the 0.64mm square pins are gold over nickel plated for reliability and the insulators flame retardant to UL94V-0. Supplementing the new connectors are the existing standard height R/A headers together with straight (vertical) versions.

These connectors form just part of an extensive PCB Interconnect series. The Headers and Sockets range for example covers both 2mm and 2.54mm pitch and lists a wide selection of ways. Both single and double row are provided for, with matching sockets available throughout. 2mm pitch has the option of surface mount terminations whilst a selection of mini jumper links accompanies the range.
