Eurohm although well known for leaded resistors also manufactures a comprehensive range of Surface Mount Chip resistors which Anglia, the exclusive distributor, holds extensive stocks in their Distribution Centre facility in Wisbech. |
With the popular trend to downsize products and move to lower cost fully automated production, surface mount resistors are becoming more and more pervasive in the market. Eurohm are well positioned to support customers who are going through the transition from through hole to surface mount manufacturing as well as being able to support customers who have already made the move.
Eurohm chip resistors are manufactured using high quality materials and the latest production techniques. The ranges cover industry standard 0402, 0603, 0805 and 1206 chip sizes and meet JIS specification.
Available in 5% and 1% tolerance on all sizes, the ranges are supplied in E24 values throughout from 1 Ohm to 10M Ohm with selected popular E96 values also available from stock. Zero Ohm links are provided in all of the four sizes.

Supplied throughout on standard 7” reels, a 13” reel is available to special order across most ranges. Containing larger quantities than their 7” counterparts, the 13” reel reduces down time on the machine for changing reels and also helps to reduce the level of inventory management required. This simple option really benefits the high volume users and is becoming more popular.
Furthermore, Eurohm also have a range of Chip resistor networks which help the engineer reduce the PCB real estate required even further as well as reducing the number of placements required.
Packaged in a standard 1206 size case, the Eurohm RCN164 series resistor network contains 4 resistors of the same value in 5% tolerance. Each resistor is equivalent to an 0603 part allowing the user to place the equivalent of 4x0603 resistors in the space required for one 1206 resistor.

As mentioned above most values of Eurohm resistors are available in volume quantities from stock with special values available to special order. Anglia recognises that some values are special and cannot be normally found in stock, however, Anglia has considerable logistics expertise and facilities which can include holding buffer stocks of unusual values for customers.
