Miniature rotary coded switches from Knitter-Switch are ideal for use in a wide range of applications

Europe’s leading switch manufacturer, Knitter-Switch, has introduced a range of miniature rotary coded switches, the DRS 60000, to suit a wide variety of applications that include telecomms, building automation and industrial control systems. |
DRS 60000 switches are ideal replacements for the Hartmann PT65 series and can be supplied with or without a shaft. Measuring just 10 x 10mm with a height off the circuit board of just 6.5mm, the new switches are RoHS compliant and lead free solderable at 260ºC for a maximum of 5s.
The DRS 60000 switches provide a positive switch “feeling” and are available in four different codings – BCD, BCD inverse, hexadecimal and hexadecimal inverse. They have a long mechanical life of up to 10000 cycles and a contact rating of 25mA at 24VDC.
