STMicroelectronics introduces high frequency dual step down converter family

ST’s new ST2S06 family of step down converters include RESET and INHIBIT functions. Key features include an input voltage of 2.5 to 5V, adjustable output of 0.8 to 5V, output current of 0.5A per channel, efficiency of 93% and options to have RESET and logic control electronic shutdown on the different variants of the ST2S06.

These features ensure the ST2S06 family is suitable for battery powered applications where heat dissipation is a key factor and where fast transient response and low in-rush currents are a requirement.

The devices are supplied in the QFN12 (4mm x 4mm) package. A demo board is also available.
