ST has introduced a silicon oscillator that has ultra low power consumption, high immunity to shock, vibrations and humidity and very fast start-up time.

Initially available in a 12MHz fixed frequency output, key features of the device include power supply voltage of 4.5 to 5.5V, ±1.5% accuracy over all conditions, low operating current (900uA max.) and Ultra Low Stand-by current (3uA max.), push-pull CMOS compatible frequency square wave output, active High Chip-enable input and a fast & stable Start-up: 50us max.

The device is supplied in the SOT23-5L package.
