Hirose DM3 series microSD card connectors

Hirose's DM3 Series are exceptionally small in size. The low height profiles are amongst the smallest on the market. All versions feature a card detection switch and are RoHS compliant.

Additional benefits include a unique card slot design (patent pending) that protects the connector from damage if the card is inserted in reverse. Other advantages include four connection points on the metal shell that assure secure ground connections to the board and provides EMI protection. Despite DM3 being a low profile connector a strong and rigid structure is guaranteed by using high strength materials.

Four DM3 options are available:-

DM3AT features a push/push ejector mechanism which can be mounted on top of the board (as shown) DM3B same as above but can be mounted on the bottom on the board.

DM3C is Push/Pull with no ejection mechanism and features a hinge to allow the card to be removed from the top. This connector has one of the world's shortest profiles.

DM3D is Push/Pull with no ejector mechanism to allow a cost effective choice.
