Flashy connectors from Hirose MI20/21 Series

  To meet with the growing demands for smaller yet more powerful memory storage devices Hirose have a very popular range of Compact Flash connectors that are suitable for a wide range of applications including PDA's, digital still camera's, hand held scanners, data recorders, monitoring devices, slot machines and industrial PC's.

Hirose offer a wide variety of options that allow for Type 1 and Type 2 cards to suit the application.

Other features are:-

  • Eject button positioning to the right, left or without, for flexibility of design
  • High durability of 10,000 mating cycles
  • Standard and reverse board mount types to suit different applications
  • Standoff's of either 0mm or 2.2mm
  • Ground terminals

Hirose's headers benefit from a pick up area to accommodate the pick and place nozzles of automatic mounting machines. The receptacles are designed to be mounted on top of the board and automatic mounting is also possible. Another major feature is the two point ejection mechanism to ensure even card ejection and smooth operation.
