STMicroelectronics offers compact 4 output regulator in a single package

The PM6681A regulator is an important newcomer to the PM66xxA multi-output regulator family. The device houses two adjustable PWM controllers, an adjustable LDO and a 5 V LDO.

Able to sustain up to 36 V input voltage, the PM6681A is suitable for both industrial and telecom applications.

The innovative control method of the switching sections (improved constant on time) allows a precise output voltage regulation over the entire input voltage range.

High-efficiency mode at light load is available: overall efficiency is high at any load, making the device suitable for applications that have to comply with energy saving regulations, plus of course applications powered by batteries. Non audible skip mode is also available for noise sensitive applications.

The output voltage range of the PM6681A makes it suitable to supply typical cores, I/Os and memories with voltages from the 12 V or 24 V buses.

The device is supplied in the QFN32L 5mm x 5mm package.
