Space-Saving High-Performance PCB Terminal

The MKDS 10 HV is a high-performance PCB terminal from Phoenix Contact and its clever pin arrangement with a pitch as small as 10.16 mm has been given unlimited 600 V UL approval (800 V in accordance with VDE). This makes is particularly suitable for products intended for the international market. With a flexible 16 mm² connector cross-section, it can transfer currents up to 76 A at ambient temperatures of approx. 60°C. For smaller connector cross-sections and currents, the current carrying capacity curve must be taken into consideration. The wire connection utilizes the tension sleeve principle to screw into this terminal.

The PCB terminal consists of individual terminals that can be combined for any number of pins. In this way, colour codes can be applied for each pin number.
