Wisbech, UK, 14 October 2009 – Nichicon, a world leader in capacitive components, today announced that it has appointed Anglia, the UK’s leading independent component distributor, as a design-in distributor covering the UK market. Nichicon is the world’s largest manufacturer of capacitors by volume, and the second largest by value, and its range extends from miniature surface mount tantalum capacitors to large screw-in devices. Under the agreement, Anglia will support and stock an extensive portfolio of Nichicon components, with particular emphasis on standard aluminium and polymer devices in surface mount, through-hole and screw-in form.
