Tactile offering from Diptronics

Anglia is now able to offer the full range of tactile switches available from Diptronics. The extensive range of tactile switches covers three sizes, 3.5 x 6mm, 6 x 6mm and 12 x 12mm in SMD and through hole versions. |
The ranges all feature SPNO contacts which have a positive 'click' action and tactile feedback.
Available throughout with a wide variety of button lengths and operating forces from 70gf to 260gf, the range is very versatile and can offer a solution for most applications requiring a momentary action switch such as office automation equipment and instrumentation.
The 3.5 x 6mm series offers an extremely compact design and two terminal mounting without compromising electrical performance with contacts rated at 50mA, 12V and electrical life expectancy quoted at 50,000 cycles minimum.
The industry standard 6 x 6mm series with 4 terminal mounting offers a very wide range of options including round and square button shapes with the latter being extremely popular in anti-tamper applications. The through hole parts are offered in vertical mounting format as standard with the option of right angle mounting. The switches have extremely high reliability with electrical life up to 500,000 cycles minimum depending on the operating force required. In addition the 6x6mm through hole version can be supplied on radial tape for rapid insertion by automatic equipment.
Complementing the versatile 6x6mm series is a range of surface mount switches which have a sealed construction making them suitable for PCB washing, whilst also offering a choice of 'J lead' or 'Gull Wing' lead form along with the excellent electrical performance offered on the standard types.
Completing the extensive range is the 12x12mm series, which again is industry standard and features mounting options, button styles and operating forces along with excellent electrical performance.
A range of switch caps in round and square styles with a variety of colour options is also available to fit the 6x6mm & 12x12mm square button types.
