STMicroelectronics introduce 0.7A step down DC DC converter in small package

  The ST1S12 from ST can deliver an current output capability of 0.7A and with a fixed voltage output of 1.2V and 1.8V and an adjustable type offering 0.6V to 5V output.

Features a high switching frequency of 1.7MHz, internal synchronous rectifier, enable function and a typical efficiency of 93%.

The ST1S12 is ideally suited to applications for battery application where heat dissipation and small dimensions are key factors along with designs requiring fast transient response behavior.

The devices are supplied in the TSOT23-5L package.
