Anglia joined the SBAC SC21 programme in July 2009. Anglia achieved accreditation from BSI to win the approval, which proves that its quality systems and lot traceability elements meet the exceptionally high standards required by this industry. The approval is required by many aerospace customers, and is increasingly sought by customers in the defence and other high reliability sectors. Commenting, Steve Rawlins, CEO of Anglia said, “This approval represents a significant investment for Anglia and strongly demonstrates our commitment to the aerospace, defence and high reliability sectors. This market represents a growing opportunity in the UK electronics industry, and winning this approval puts us in pole position to serve its needs.” Anglia serves an extensive military and aerospace customer base and supplies high reliability components from a range of franchises. Anglia is now working towards gaining formal recognition under the SC21 programme, and expects to achieve this within six to nine months. The distributor already offers a very high standard of service to military and aerospace customers, including full lot traceability. About Anglia For further details please contact:
