Avalue launches new industrial RISC-based modules featuring ultra-low power and high portability

The purposes of setting a Digital Signage are varied, from tourist guiding, information providing, promotional advertising, to interactive multimedia service supplying, yet for lifting the environment beauty. The Digital Signage is widespread. Therefore Avalue developed +12V DC input supported motherboards, focusing on large screens, high definition effects, and multi-functional manageability, and providing customers the best choice of Digital Signage systems.

Avalue’s fanless Digital Signage motherboard, ACP-945GDS, is powered by Intel® Atom™ N270 low voltage processor, and the other with a smart fan control ability motherboard, ACP-GM45DS, is powered by Intel® Core™ 2 Due mobile processor. Both of them come with built-in SODIMM sockets, supporting 2GB~4GB DDR2 SDRAM. Avalue Digital Signage motherboards integrate with Intel® GMA 3D graphics engines, and provide Full HD Video Playback Decoding capability, plus come with Realtek 5.1-channel audio streams, to deliver excellent graphics and sound effects. Besides, Avalue Digital Signage motherboards support multi displays configurations, and compatible with various types of display, such as VGA, DVI, LVDS, and HDMI, the maximum resolution is 2048 x 1536. It is suitable for large-scale video wall applications as connecting with a video splitter.

The ACP-GM45DS supports Intel® iAMT 4.0 technology, which enables remote networking manageability and offers the optimized system management capability. For a system administrator, without being on-site, he/she can repair user-end problems anytime, even the power is off. It also provides an integrated TPM security chipset, which gives hardware security abilities to defend attacks and protect data. Avalue’s ACP-series Mini-ITX motherboards provide flexible interface for expandability, including PCIe x1, Mini PCIe, PCI, USB 2.0, COM, SATA, CF, 2 sets of Gigabit Ethernet LANs, K/M, and 8-bit DI/O etc.
