CEL, a leading producer of moulded products for the electronics industry, has expanded its range of cost effective, convenient PCB assembly hardware. |
Manufactured from high quality Nylon 6/6, flame retardant to UL94V-2, the wide selection of products, all supplied in natural colour, include the following:
PCB supports - available in a large variety of styles and lengths, these single and double-ended snaps are designed for rapid, hand assembly without the requirement for tools. An option of self-adhesive, edge mount, releasable snap locking and screw mounted types is also provided to cover the full range of applications.
PCB spacers - available as plain round spacers or hexagonal shape threaded spacers with a choice of length offering female threads both ends or male one end and female on the other end. The spacers are designed to accommodate metric screws.
Screws, nuts & washers - Metric size throughout, this range consists of pan and countersunk crosshead screws together with the corresponding nuts and plain washers. Due to the Nylon 6/6 construction this range offers excellent electrical insulation properties and corrosion resistance.
In addition to the above, CEL also produces PCB fastening devices. The fastening products consist of a large range of two part moulded rivets covering board thickness from 1mm to 8.5mm, supplemented by latch types with a choice of plunger head arrangement. Material is black Nylon 6/6 throughout with the option of white colour on non-latch parts.
Other hardware in CEL's extensive range includes a moulded door latch and an extensive series of rubber feet to suit a wide variety of instrumentation, cabinets and housings. These include self-adhesive feet employing 3M tape, offering a broad choice of shapes and sizes, together with a range of moulded snap-rivet feet requiring no adhesive.
