New single-phase filters for universal use from Schaffner with very high attenuation features

The internationally leading company in the field of electromagnetic compatibility has introduced two new series of single-phase filters.

Both the FN 2030 and FN 2090 filter series complement the proven FN 2000 filter family and have been developed for applications which require high attenuation features. The single-stage FN 2030 version is used for suppression of symmetric interference signals while the multi-stage FN 2090 version is used both for symmetric as well as for asymmetric interference signals. The new filters are designed for a maximum continuous operation voltage of 250VAC and for rated currents from 1 to 30A (20A for FN 2090). As well as the standard version, both filter series are also available as safety or medical versions with low leakage currents. The FN 2030 and FN 2090 filter series can be supplied with surge pulse protection as an option. The filters have all required safety approvals and are compatible with the RoHS Directive.
