Cree has announced a breakthrough new lighting-class LED that can obsolete energy-inefficient light bulbs. The XLamp® MPL EasyWhite™ LED offers the performance, colour consistency and lumen density to displace conventional light sources.

Cree has expanded its XLamp® XP-C family by introducing LEDs in royal blue, blue, green, amber, red-orange and red that are 10-to-50 percent brighter than Cree’s previous midrange colour LEDs.

The JOLLY SLIM LED driver has been designed to be installed in luminaires and thanks to his slim dimensions, the same as electronic ballasts for T5 fluorescent lamps, being easily placed in most of the existing luminaires.

These new XP-G LEDs extend Cree’s highest level of light output and efficacy across the white colour spectrum, driving general lighting applications such as LED replacement lamps, outdoor area and commercial luminaires.

EPCOS has developed a new series of PTC thermistors in the EIA 0603 case size specifically for LED driver circuits.
