Anglia launches embedded division
Wisbech, UK, 23 November 2010 – Anglia Components, the UK’s leading independent component distributor, today announced the formation of Anglia Embedded to address the fast developing embedded solutions market.
Anglia Embedded brings together the product portfolios and support available from Anglia Displays and Anglia M2M together with Avalue, a world leading supplier of single board computers (SBCs). In addition to Avalue, Anglia Embedded is supported by leading suppliers including Cinterion, Hitachi, connectBlue, Fastrax and Telegesis.

Avalue Technology provides a range of innovative embedded computing products and services. Avalue has developed a full range of embedded systems to provide engineers with system-ready platforms that meet increasingly demanding multimedia and networking applications. Avalue can supply a comprehensive range of embedded 3.5”, 5.25”, PC/104 and EPIC single board computers. These affordable SBCs provide engineers access to applications such as industrial automation, kiosk terminals, point of sale, gaming and medical.
