Omron launches new high isolation and high sensitivity MOSFET relay
The G3VM-61VY features a 1a contact with 70mA 60V rating, with improved characteristics compared to the actual G3VM-61G1
The G3VM-61VY has a special small SOP4 format with a width of only 3,6mm, but it's compatible with the standard SOP4, the mostly used relay size in the security market, and it is pin to pin compatible with the G3VM-61G1.
The G3VM-61VY also provides a power consumption 30% lower than the G3VM-61G1, with a typical trigger current of only 0,6mA; this can increase the operating time in all the battery devices, commonly used in security devices like intruder detectors, and facilitate energy saving designs.
This new high isolation and high sensitivity relay find its best in security system applications, like photoelectric sensors and alarms, but can also be used in measurement devices, industrial equipments, amusement machines, and all devices where high electrical life and reliability and low consuption are required.
