Aluminium electrolytic meets conductive polymer - the best of both capacitor worlds from Panasonic

 

Panasonic`s newly developed hybrid capacitor technology combines low ESR characteristics of the conductive polymer capacitor and the low leakage current of aluminium electrolytic capacitors.

The V-ZC series, in particular, offers a compact design, high reliability of the conductive polymer capacitor and the safety of the aluminium electrolytic capacitor.

Hybrid capacitors impress with very stable electrical characteristics over temperature and excellent performance at high frequencies.

Features & Benefits:

  • Downsizing and weight reduction
  • ESR values equivalent to conductive polymer capacitors – down to 20mOhm
  • High ripple current – up to 2000mA
  • Power saving and stable operation
  • Leakage current values are equivalent to aluminium electrolytic capacitors
  • High reliability and safety improvement
  • Lifetime is 4000h at 125°C, the longest life properties in the industry (1)
  • Failure mode at end of lifetime: open mode (dry up)
