Anglia Components adds major power capacitor range

Wisbech, UK, 1 July 2013 – Anglia Components today announced that it has been appointed as UK and Eire distributor by Cornell Dubilier Electronics, North America’s largest manufacturer of power capacitors.

Anglia has put in place an extensive stock profile representative of the full Cornell Dubilier range, including Aluminium Electrolytic Capacitors, Polypropylene Film Capacitors, Super Capacitors and Mica Capacitors. The agreement means that UK and Eire design engineers and manufacturing sites will be able to source the full range of Cornell Dubilier capacitors from industry standard snap in Aluminium Electrolytic Capacitors to the latest specialty Polypropylene Power Film Capacitors from Anglia.

Commenting on the appointment, Graham Bridger, Marketing Director at Anglia, said, “Cornell Dubilier has a fantastic brand in the specialist power capacitor market, and it allows us to offer a more complete solution for this important market segment. These components will appeal particularly to customers in applications such as renewable energy, power supplies, UPS, motor drives, HVAC, motors, welding, military/aerospace, lighting, electric vehicles, medical equipment and more. Our Field Application Engineering team is already working closely with these markets, and can now offer a very full range of power capacitors to support these projects. We are supporting this important line to the hilt, and have available one of the UK’s most extensive stock profiles for immediate shipment through Anglia Live.”

Mike Selvaggi, Vice President, International Sales, Cornell Dubilier Electronics, Inc. added, “We see our new relationship with Anglia as a great opportunity to partner with a regional technical broadline distributor based in the UK which significantly strengthens our footprint in a key market. Anglia’s focused regional customer service and stock holding will enable UK customers to order CDE capacitors for next day delivery. They have a passion for our product, and close relationships with many customers that we weren’t already reaching.”
