Grid-EYE sensor from Anglia transforms thermal measurement and detection

The innovative Grid-EYE High Precision Infrared Array Sensor from Panasonic is now available from Anglia. Grid-EYE is able to measure actual temperature and temperature gradients effectively providing a thermal image of the area being monitored. The 64 thermopile elements in an 8x8 grid array easily detect multiple persons and identify their positions and direction of movement, independently of ambient lighting conditions and without disturbing privacy as with conventional cameras.
