CamdenBoss expands DIN-Rail Instrument case and Housing range to help speed products to market

CamdenBoss, provider of performance engineered interconnection and enclosures, has extended its DIN-Rail enclosure range with a new family of instrument boxes offering low profile and deep profile versions designed to help speed electrical and electronic products to market.

The CDIB range is supplied in kit form for fast, snap-fit assembly with the low profile size offering a slim line 35mm DIN-Rail mount enclosure for applications where space is at a premium. The deep profile case, meanwhile, provides more internal space for those applications with larger components and boards.

All terminal guards and covers from the industry-leading CamdenBoss DIN-Rail CNMB range can be used with both CDIB versions and any existing base PCBs will fit both the CNMB and CDIB enclosures.

Moulded in UL94-V0, the CDIB enclosures can be fully customised allowing freedom to include cut-outs, vents or holes in any position and with a variety of colours available. Combined with the option of digital printing, customers can create a bespoke CDIB DIN-Rail mounting instrument enclosure to their exact specifications. Contact Anglia to discuss your requirements.

Dimensions for the cases are 106.2 x 90 x 31.9mm high for the low profile version while the deeper case is 114.05mm high.

Complementing the new CDIB instrument enclosures is CVB-Plus, a vertical DIN-Rail mount housing complete with 16 (four x 4-pole) 5mm pitch pluggable terminal blocks, a unique offering in the market. Providing a convenient clip together design for fast assembly, the versatile features of CVB-Plus enclosures include solid or vented side panels, front and side label recesses and two vertical PCB slots to ensure boards are held firmly in place. A development PCB is also available as an option.

The CVB-Plus enclosure is 22.5mm wide and moulded in green self-extinguishing UL94-V0 flame retardant PA66. Like many CamdenBoss DIN-Rail enclosures, CVB-Plus is also chassis or surface mountable thanks to a pair of spring-loaded clips that can be snapped into position. This added flexibility makes CVB-Plus a versatile solution in numerous electrical applications such as security, control products, energy management, embedded systems and HVAC. For customers requiring additional customisation, CamdenBoss also offers a wide variety of optional services including silk-screen and digital printing on external faces of housings, CNC milling, drilling and cutting, external painting and surface finishing, EMC shielding, keypads and overlays, and electronics assembly. Contact Anglia to discuss your requirements.
