STMicroelectronics has introduced three monolithic step-up converters for LED backlights and lighting, providing 30mA or 85mA current sources for six rows of up to 10 white LEDs.
The new TX20D19 supports a 15:9 wide aspect ratio, a display resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and delivers excellent optical performance for applications such as media terminals, home automation and industrial user interfaces.

Taicom have introduced a new range of connectors for use with FFC (Flexible Flat Cable) and FPC (Flexible Printed Circuits). Available in 1.0mm and 1.25mm pitch, the range includes types suitable for surface mount or through hole processes.
